This position is responsible for new business development and managing certain bio chemical and other industrial chemical fields within the department. The incumbent will contribute to the development of the market strategy and the commercialization of new chemical products, while ensuring strong technical linkage and direction to the team’s activities and projects. The person will coordinate projects which deliver the performance required for a range of applications through sound scientific understanding, optimization of materials and applications based on customer and market needs. Responsible for assisting with the preparation of short and long term business projections, implementing business strategies and overseeing the business transactions from beginning to completion. This position reports to the department General Manager (GM) and/or Senior Director.
