| Job duties |
The position is responsible for a wide array of accounting functions and cycles reporting to the management.Accounting & Finance. The purpose of the position is to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations on a company-wide basis. In essence, the position is responsible for running the company’s core accounting functions.
•Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End closing routines, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, quarterly reporting packages and related analyses;
•Maintenance of general ledger accounts; oversight of all account reconciliation;
•Monitoring of Accounts Receivable/Credit and Inventory administration;
•Fixed Asset administration;
•Review of application of cost accounting;
•Preparation of workpapers and analyses for auditors, as required;
•Assistance with tax reporting and analyses;
•Assistance to VP – Accounting & Finance in the review, design, development and implementation of corporate accounting and business policies and procedures, as required;
•Assistance with the preparation annual business plan, quarterly forecasts and revisions, as required;
•Performs other related duties as required.
