Job duties |
Oversee human resources and general affairs function including recruiting, employee relations, legal, organizational development, administration, administration of health benefits, purchasing and facilities management.
•Establish standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures. Review candidate with supervisors and makes recommendations for hiring.
•Establish wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services.
•Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function (e.g. OSHA, EEO, ERISA, FLSA, etc.). Monitor exposure of the company. Act as primary contact with labor counsel and outside government agencies.
•Develop and execute personnel policies and procedures, including drafting new (and regularly updating) employee handbook.
•Prepare fiscal year budgets and business plan for human resources and administrative functions.
